Rage Against the Incinerator

Oct 2024 - there are no updates on proposals at the moment - information will be added as and when received.  Contact details for the Action Group are in the original update below, if you need them.

Please see attached information from the Bilsthorpe Action Group regarding proposals for a new Incinerator plant to be sited at Bilsthorpe, which, if approved by Notts County Council, will have a number of negative impacts on local communities, including ours.

Formal submission of plans is expected very soon, and there will be a limited time available for local objections to be made, so the request is to start the process of objection now, to be followed up with further information when available.  The action group has a Facebook page for those of you that use Facebook, and can be contacted directly at [email protected].

The Parish Council would be grateful if you will consider the attached and either submit an objection letter electronically to [email protected] or by a signed paper copy.

Paper copies can be delivered to a local drop box and will then be forwarded on to the Bilsthorpe Action Group. The dropbox will be located inside the Food Bank donations box, outside the village hall, next to the planter.
